I think my current shortlist is this: /posts, /shorts, /snippets, /shreds, /messages. /posts and /shorts feel unclear; /snippets may also be unclear, I might be reserving it for code; I like /shreds a lot, it's fun; /messages does feel the clearest and fittest for purpose.
