HTML5 is the fifth major version of the Hyper Text Markup Language. It’s the language the web is largely based on, and is what your web browser ultimately interprets. This version added a lot of support for multimedia embedding, clearer naming conventions for elements and better interoperability. This makes it not just perfect for the web at large, but for mobile devices as well. It is cleaner, faster, better HTML.
